I get a fair number of letters from folks who think I’m a wildlife photographer because I photograph animals. I’m a fraud in this regard, particularly when compared to many of my colleagues who climb mountains and sit waiting in blinds for many months to see an elusive animal. That’s not to say there isn’t danger in my work. Although Boo Boo here was safely caged in her backyard, I went into her domain despite several warnings from her owner. She charged me a few times but only because I think she enjoyed scaring me so much. Boo Boo lives in a sanctuary these days and I’m back safely in my own cage at home.
