One of the keys to life I've found is to embrace the future ... but equally as important is to respect the past ... because the past is the foundation of the future. Throwback to this image shot on film back in the day by my good friend @jlibbyphoto from when I was on the other side of the lens. I have so much respect for what him and the other film photographers did back in the day having to rely completely on how well they knew their cameras. There were no screens to see what you had just shot or laptops to upload your days images to to see what you were getting. There was only your eye ... your imagination ... and how well you knew your camera. At times we would travel together for months without ever knowing whether we were actually getting the shots until we got home and the film was developed. As much as I embrace the future of camera technology I have so much respect for guys like @jlibbyphoto and the art they captured during the times of film ... respect ?
