Wild Boreray in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, one of the largest Gannet colonies in the world. I'm preparing images for a performance of Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture with the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra on July 1 at the venerable Chautauqua Institution. This music has been a favorite of mine back to my youth and inspiration for photographing these islands.
