We spent the day working with the Billion Oyster Project on Governors Island - their mission is to bring back the native oyster population to filter NY waterways. These beds of drying oyster shells were donated by NY restaurants and will serve as a new homes for baby oysters! Know of any restaurants in NY that want to contribute?
