Photo by @pedromcbride (Pete McBride): An aerial view of the Loop, a double oxbow that winds through #Canyonlands National Park and Cataract Canyon in Utah. This image was the cover of my book "The Colorado River; Flowing Through Conflict" and now part of an outdoor photo exhibit featuring my work in Gacilly, #France all summer. Typically the #Colorado or “American Nile” runs #dry further south in Mexico, but this spring it briefly #kissed the sea due to a binational agreement, the first of its kind.
