Cesare Casadei is pleased to present the first collection of CESARE CASADEI in collaboration with Louis Leeman and Erica Pelosini.
Merging modernism and tradition, the collection draws inspiration from a Dandy Rock influence and a biker repertoire for an elegant, extroverted and edgy collection.
The CESARE CASADEI collection takes form in four main styles: moccasins, slippers, sneakers and bikers.
The classic form of the moccasins and slippers is modernized by contrasting elements. Metal sheets highlight the moccasins, while a zip motif runs along the seams and edges to outline the silhouettes. Graphic applications paying homage to a Route 66 culture, studs and buckles are distinctive motifs of the collection. Made in leather, velvet and suede, the models come in tones of black, dark blue, burgundy and white. The metal elements accent the styles in gold, silver and gunmetal colors.
CESARE CASADEI inhabits a custom display in the Milan showroom created by the studio Vincenzo De Cotiis Architects dedicated to showcasing the new collection. The space is decorated by a photographic print featuring a repeated pattern, exclusive to Casadei, of symbols and signs with rock and biker inspiration. A play of mirrors multiplies the graphic pattern throughout the space creating the background to the CESARE CASADEI collection.
The brand will continue to employ its longstanding family tradition in the art of footwear and the “Made-in-Italy” craftsmanship with their newest project, CESARE CASADEI. The collection will be available in the Casadei boutique and on Casadei.com starting from May 2014.
