Black with white stripes? Or white with black stripes? As I watched these zebra battling it out in Namibia’s Etosha National Park, the question didn’t even occur to me until I started editing; seeing in detail the marvelous differences in pattern and density. Whether the purpose of the stripes is to confuse predators, or flies, one thing is for certain—the strips are mesmerizing, and a wonder to see in the wild. Photo by @kengeiger
