[TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS] You may remember the story we posted on March 26th (Epilepsy Awareness Day) this year, of a young lady (Miss 7) who, for her 7th Birthday requested that she didn't want gifts for her birthday, but instead she would like people to make donations for the Princess Margaret Hospital. She wanted to split the donations between the Respiratory department & the Palliative Care unit, as Miss 7's big sister, Aliyah fought a very hard battle against Epilepsy, losing the battle when pneumonia left her 8 year old body to weak to fight both. Miss 7 & her little sister Miss 4, grew up being by Ali's side in the Respiratory department & the Palliative Care unit. When we heard that Miss 7 had raised nearly $600, we were so inspired that we wanted to help her out. So on March 26th, all purple (the color of Epilepsy Awareness Day) Bohemian Bardot ring's sold went directly to her fund. Miss 7's Mum got this great photo of Miss 7 signing the big cheque (Like a boss!), for her & her little sister to donate to the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital For Children yesterday, in honor of their big sister, Aliyah. What a truly inspiring & selfless young lady, one who I have no doubt will be a world changer. Thank you to everyone who supported & bought a purple ring on March 26th, and the biggest thanks goes to, Miss 7 – THANK YOU for your generosity, selflessness & kindness. The shining light that you carry to continue Aliyah's legacy is magical; you are a true inspiration.
