The Ponker Dress from SS14 is inspired by a veritable fetish for footwear, specifically evening slippers from the 18th century. Mega-scale foliate embellishments are drawn from 1960s Lesage embroideries and are applied to this architectonic evening dress. Colours come from the eighteenth century, rococo shades of periwinkle, amethyst and celeste. The Ponker Dress is as delicate as the shape is strong. Available at marykatrantzou.com.
