My name is Charlotte and I've been doing ballet since I was 9 (8 years total). I started off with Oregon Ballet Theater, but now I train with The Portland Ballet. It's a pretty small studio but I love it because there are wonderful performance opportunities! Performing is my favorite part if ballet because it lets me escape my usually shy self and be confident on stage doing something I love. This past fall I got to perform the lead in Firebird. And so far, out of all the parts of danced, Firebird was my favorite.

I have always worn Freeds and I live them! I like that they break in so easily and mold to my foot, making them easy to roll through in. My favorite leotard brand is Yumiko. I'm a Yumi Girl and consequently have collected many free Yumis over the years.

My favorite poses are penché and arabesque. Because I'm long-legged and over 5'9", I have an easier time moving more slowly, I really like adagio, grand allegro, and pirouettes!
