I have noticed that a lot of you have asked "Why is his name Tuna?" Well, let me dispel any rumors that he is named after the fish :) When I adopted him at 4 months, I thought that he resembled Mr. Burns from the Simpsons, so that is what became his name; however, his cartoonish looks warranted him the nickname "Tooney" (which is short for cartoon), and I called him that the most for the first few months of having him. Tooney soon after became Tuna when my nephew, who was 6 at the time, mistakenly thought that his name was Tuna. The minute I heard him ask me "Is it Tuna?" my response was, "Um yes, that's his name." thus, his name changed to Tuna in that very moment and I think that it's the perfect name for him :) #dontworryfolks #heisnotconfusedmyhismillionnames
