Since renewed fighting broke out on 15 December 2013, the number of people displaced internally has reached 716,000 – over 382,900 of them children. An additional 156,800 people have sought refuge in neighbouring countries. We're supporting programmes in water, sanitation and hygiene; nutrition; health; education; and child protection.
