Thank you.
18 years ago I was a frizzy little tomboy with home-cut bangs and a sassy attitude. I told my parents I wanted to be an Olympian and they said OK, let's make it happen.
My story wasn't a fairytale, but looking back right now I certainly feel like Cinderella! I cannot thank my family enough for believing in my crazy dream, and doing everything in their power to make sure that I could make it come true.

Thank you Dad for always making sure there was a rink for me to skate at when we were re-stationed. Thank you for working your way up so you could help pay for my astronomical skating bills.

Thank you Mom for taking on this dream with me. Thank you for sitting on a cold rink bench hour after hour watching me attempt to learn how to be even a little bit graceful. Thank you for waking up at 4 am to get me to the rink. Thank you for so much more that I'll never be able to turn into words.

Thank you Austin, for being so crazy competitive with me. Without you I would not have this fire within me to compete.

Lastly, thank you to my sponsors who made this all possible. Skating is a world filled with uncertainty, and you all made this past year so incredibly easy and seamless, so all I had to do was train. I still can't believe that I can call myself a @COVERGIRL as well as a @Nike Women athlete. Thanks to @BPTeamUSA for taking care of my family! Many more went into this and I thank you all!

Overwhelmed with gratitude and I'm starting to ramble, but one last huge thank you to all of my fans, you guys rock and because of you I am here today!!
