Over the past several weeks, Instagrammers around the world gathered to take photos and videos and share them on Instagram. Communities met up for an InstaMeet at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, got behind-the-scenes looks at both New York Fashion Week and The New York Times printing facility and came together around the world with #standwithme in support of freedom and ending child slavery. Other meets took place in Alor Setar (#sailangclans), Atlanta (#mycolormeet), Bali (#instameeteastbali), Chattanooga (#instameetcha), Colombo (#instameetcmb), Denver (#steadbrookmeet), Jakarta (#instameettamanmini), Jasper (#outintheozarks), Kuala Lumpur (#my_genggua_upm), Macau (#mini_oumun3), New York City (#winterwalknyc), Pekanbaru (#miniwalkpku), Queen City (#queencityinstameet) and Washington DC (#zoomeet).
