את שורשי משפחתי נטעתי לראשונה בבן שמן, שם הכרתי את אהבת חיי - סוניה ז״ל. ליבי נכבש בצמתה העבה והקלועה, בחום אישיותה ובענוותה. היתה לה דרך משלה, צירוף של חוכמת לב וחוכמת אדם, ובדרכה גידלה משפחה של ילדים חרוצים וישרים הולכים בדרך הנכונה. אני גאה במשפחתי, בחיק ילדיי ונכדיי תמיד אמצא כוח, תמיכה והשראה, אך יותר מכל אני גאה בישראליותה. שבת שלום ויום משפחה שמח.

I started my family in Ben Shemen - it was there that I met the love of my life, Sonia. My heart was captured by her hair, warm personality and humility. She had her own way, a combination of intelligence of the heart and the head, in her own way she raised a family of hard working and honest children who are walking on the right path. I'm proud of my family, in my children, grandchildren and great children who are a source of strength, support and satisfaction. Most of all I'm proud that mine is an Israeli family.
