This is a repost (with slight change to cropped/processing) of one of my favourite images shot this year. It was for a @joshjohnson theme, "colorful", and I was really pleased with all my colourful images shot that night (one of them, a fashionable lady on a bike with city lights in the background, received a @joshjohnson posting via @kevinkuster for a 'not for squares' theme). I was heading back home when I came upon a gentleman walking his dog on a downtown street. I asked if I could take a photo of his dog, envisioning this image in my mind, and it couldn't have worked out any better!
I am so thrilled to have discovered the JJ community! It has been wonderful to connect with photographers all over the world, and I know that my photography has improved in the last few months with much more active shooting, usually on a daily basis. Having a theme, purpose to work towards, is a wonderful challenge as well. I look forward to the next year of JJ themes/challenges!
