My very first nutcracker, I danced at Ballet San Jose and I was a little mouse. It was the first large show I had ever performed in. I was so nervous but when I went onstage I realized how much I enjoyed dancing! Since then, I've danced Arabian and Russian princess. Roles are castes based on seniority so I've never danced Sugarplum Fairy, but my dream role is actually Snow Queen because the music and choreography are beautiful!
