The Bureau of Land Management - Nevada (@mypubliclands) helped celebrate Nevada’s Sesquicentennial (Nevada 150) by seeking photos that highlight Nevadan adventures and activities on public lands and historic sites. Winning photos will be showcased in a 2014 planner with a release date set for January 2104. Here's one of the winners by Kent A. Lefevre of the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness. Here is what he had to say about this photo. "The Rainbow Mountain Wilderness is one of my favorite places. This image was taken early in the morning after a winter storm swept through the Red Rock escarpment. The sun was beginning to burn off the low enveloping fog. The outside temperature was below freezing and it was snowing as I packed all my gear to the spot I had in mind near the Oak Creek Trail.
