LAST DAY TO ENTER!!! To enter take a great picture and upload it to Instagram with @thephotosociety and #NOV13TPS  in the caption.  This month’s contest will be judged by Randy Olson @randyolson, a contributing photographer of National Geographic Magazine.  The winning picture will receive a personal critique by Randy and be featured on the TPS website, Facebook and Instagram feeds. The winner will also receive a TurnStyle 5 Sling Camera Bag from ThinkTank Photo! Contest rules are below. If you don’t follow the rules you risk being disqualified.
Contest will run for the first three days of the month, starting/ending at midnight (12:00pm) Washington DC time.  Each person is limited to ONE entry per month, and images can come from any type of camera.  Gentle use of filters and toning /color correction is allowed, but not the addition or subtraction of any elements of the original picture. No picture can be entered more than once, and original image must have been taken by the up-loader. Proof of native capture will be required of all winners, and copyright will remain with photographer. Watermarks are not allowed. Judging will be based on creative and technical merit. Watermarks are not allowed. If you do not have a Facebook account, please state so in your caption.
