@marcusbleasdale Displaced people fleeing towards Gety after their town was attacked by rebel forces. Today more than a million people are displaced in North Kivu due to the repeated cycles of violence. Almost two thirds of them seek refuge in family homes while the other third move to official camps or spontaneous sites. Humanitarian assistance is insufficient and has serious medical consequences as malnutrition, respiratory infections, diarrhea due to precarious daily life and lack of access to water and sanitation.
