Little India was sparkling after the Deepavali Light-Up. 10 young dancers from Bharathaa Arts welcomed us with LED ‘agal vilakku’ (traditional clay lamps) in their hands. 55,000 special CDs have been creatively incorporated in this year’s decorations. Each CD carries a traditional Rangoli design done by a participant from a special needs home or an old aged home. The effect was stunning. - LHL
