Did you know that the Bureau of Land Management is on Instagram? Follow them @mypubliclands for #breathtaking photos of the 245 million acres of public land they manage, including the stunning National #Conservation Lands. One of the best known BLM-managed lands is the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, just 20 minutes from the #LasVegas strip, but seemingly a world apart. A paved loop road offers easy access to numerous dramatic photo spots and more adventures photographers can hike into the #backcountry. Then cliffs face east and turn brilliant red at #sunrise, but many side canyons catch evening backlighting so either time is worth a visit. The area is accessible year round.
