ONCE UPON A TIME there was a jewellery designer who loved all things gold and sparkly. Many, many years ago, the jewellery designer was in an ancient Asian palace (a department store in Hong Kong) and saw the most exquisite ancient treasure (Vintage #chanel bangle.... Circa 1980s-ancient-at-least). It was love as first sight, but the jewellery designer felt guilty that she was cheating on her own kingdom (jewellery brand). This feeling lasted about 2 seconds, because she rationalised that Chanel makes the world a better place, and who was she to question such a good deed. Anyway, the jewellery designer didn't purchase the treasure, and left the palace to sleep on (a mattress with a pea under it) the thought and when she returned the next day, the treasure was gone. The jewellery designer wept for (what seemed like) a thousand years that the treasure would not be hers.... Until she was working (surfing the Internet) and stumbled across the treasure from a vintage-treasure-seller! The jewellery designer rejoiced at the find and after trading frankincense and myrrh (PayPal issue on transfer due to transferring the amount of a large kidney) the treasure was FINALLY hers and she lived happily (yet broke) ever after.
