Today I became the first woman to ever wrestle on the Ancient Olympic grounds where wrestlers competed so many years ago. As a Greek-American, it was a tremendous honor to be a part of this event. Losing was upsetting, but learning about the history of the Olympics n about the purpose for its establishment gave me new insights into what and why I do what I do. Wrestling is character building and this loss challenges me and helps me to grow as an athlete and a person. #stillholdingmyheadhigh
