Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Yellowstone NP, WY. Photo by @peteressick. I have started a project to photograph the 12 original national parks using the wet plate collodion process. When the national park service came into being in 1916 , these were the core group of parks. So what better place to start than in Yellowstone, the first parked them all. There are some well worn tripod holes here at Artist Point, but I still was eager to see how it would look using the photographic process that the first photographers in Yellowstone used in the 19th century.
