#Nags Head, NCarolina sand fences trying to do what they can never do. Hold a dune line. At least not for long. A feeble attempt to alter the natural ebb and flow of sand and water on this barrier island in the Outer Banks. The place moves around. Is supposed to. Building too close to the sea is folly.
