Valentine's Day is this week, and you know what that means—feeds filled with photos representing love of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. Many will be celebrating love for a significant other, family member, or close friend, but before the holiday arrives we want you to take a moment and think outside of the chocolate box. For the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday, we're giving you an extra hashtag project: #objectsofaffection.

The goal is to tell the stories of different kinds of love behind the objects we treasure. To get started, try rummaging through your family heirlooms, or think about the objects that you could never live without, then consider what makes them so special and share the love! Check out @jayzombie's photo above of her first record player and favorite record to get an idea of what we're looking for. We'll be featuring our favorite stories on Valentine's Day!
