Faces of Sleeping Sickness

Portrait of Nobart Monia, 2, from Bamurye village in South Sudan, who has Sleeping Sickness. This is Nobart's first time having Sleeping Sickness. Before being diagnosed by @MSF_USA #DoctorsWithoutBorders in a remote field hospital and arriving to the Kajo Keji Civil Hospital in Kajo Keji, #SouthSudan, Nobart had persistent fever and dizziness.

Spread by a bite from a tsetse fly,
sleeping sickness effects millions and kills thousands if untreated.

Thank you for helping spread the word on the need for pharmaceutical companies to help develop less involving and painful treatment for testing and treating sleeping sickness.

Sleeping sickness is not only a neglected disease, it's a disease of neglected people.
