I worked with Andre on “Gideon’s Crossing” in 2000, and I’ve never met a kinder, gentler soul. He treated this relative newcomer to TV with nothing but respect and generosity. Between scenes, we spoke for hours about “Homicide: Life on the Street” (a brilliant series!) and the theatre. He valued the craft of acting and protected the artists around him. I’m so grateful to have met him. His humanity and immense talent will be sorely missed. #ripandrebraugher.
