Chris Eyre’s ‘Smoke Signals’, which was filmed on the Coeur d’Alene Reservation in northwestern Idahoa, follows two young men made into brothers by circumstance who reluctantly band together to retrieve their father’s ashes.

‘Smoke Signals' was added to the National Film Registry in 2018 for its cultural significance to film history.

The @AcademyMuseum is celebrating the film’s 25th anniversary with a screening of a 35mm release print of the film, an introduction from Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Trustee Ray Halbritter, and filmmaker Chris Eyre in conversation on Thursday, November 30th (link in bio for more information - standby tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis).
