Mom diary: I’ve been patiently waiting this week…or maybe not so patiently anymore 😂 My goal was to make it past Monday to celebrate Allegra’s birthday - her actual birthday is tomorrow, but since it was a bit too close to my due date, I thought a couple of days earlier was a safer bet. 🫢 I’ve completed all the things I wanted to do - more or less, and now I’m just chilling in my bed (almost - writing this while organizing a playroom/ those toys are multiplying by the minute) ahaha. This week is all about taking it slow and doing a little self-care. I also want to disconnect a bit from social media during birth and a couple of days after, just to enjoy the quiet time, transitioning, and being present with my family ❤️.

Allegra’s actual birthday is tomorrow. What’s your bet on the baby’s birthday? I think it’s cute to share a birthday with your sibling, but at the same time, maybe it’s nice for them to have their own special day?
