To mark #WorldDiabetesDay, we bring you the story of Simone Carniglia, who completed his Six Star journey in New York City this year.

Simone lives with Type 1 diabetes and, with the help of Abbott’s Continuous Glucose Monitoring technology, he has been able to complete all six Abbott World Marathon Majors.

We followed Simone from Staten Island all the way to Central Park, and his story is one that we hope will inspire the millions of people managing Type 1 diabetes to chase their dreams.
