Throughout centuries of art, poetry and more recently photography, our bodies have persisted as a source of curiosity and exploration, serving as vehicles for expression, movement and change.⁠

Inspired by sculptures of the Classical era, @herbert_list’s fascination with the human form saw the creation of many of his most renowned portraits.⁠

@philippe_halsman_official photographed many of his well-known subjects mid-air, having identified jumping as a psychological tool where "the real self becomes visible."⁠

In her series Men Untitled, Carolyn Drake (@drakeycake) explores her relationship to myths of masculinity in American culture through a series of intimate and unconventional portraits of men.⁠
