Though Conor was originally interested in filmmaking — he began shooting and editing short-form video in fifth grade — he was inspired by travel bloggers on social media to make the transition to photography in high school. “I wanted to find a way to meaningfully capture all of the amazing experiences I was having on my first trips,” he recently shared with T+L. . When asked about the moment photography truly clicked for him, Conor recalled a family trip to Paris back in 2013. “I was wandering around Montmartre by myself, armed with a Canon Rebel T3i, and I shot a photo of a painter. I didn’t think much of it until I uploaded the image to edit on my iPhone; I instantly saw the magic,” he says. . Conor’s advice for aspiring travel photographers: “Produce more than you consume. The best way to improve your photography is to just go out and do it. There’s no substitute for practice. Also, take some time to find your editing style. I think what really sets a good photo apart from an average one is editing. Shooting a good photo is half the battle — how you make it your own is what puts it over the edge.” . In Conor’s go-to gear bag, you’ll find a Sony A7III camera, 28-70mm lens, and a Yashica T3 film camera. . All photos by @cw.frames」11月3日 1時45分 - travelandleisure
