Up first ⇾ Jeffrey Gibson, a Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians/Cherokee Nation painter and sculptor currently living in Brooklyn. Gibson's "THE FUTURE IS PRESENT,” “The Anthropophagic Effect, Garment No. 4,” and “The Past as Future Artifact (Mask 2)” are currently on view in "Woven Histories: Textiles and Modern Abstraction."
