Lindsay Brewerさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Lindsay BrewerInstagram)「Words can’t explain what a momentous day it was for me getting to test the @indynxt car for the first time at the iconic @indianpolismotorspeedway Was nervous at first due to the jump between this new car and my last one, with almost twice the horsepower, more braking power, more downforce, and basically more of everything. Many people don’t know that I started racing at the age of 11 and had some early success in go-karts and Legend Car racing, but had to discontinue the sport when I was unable to fund it any further. I ended up going to college and don’t regret that one bit because it’s where I built a social media following and met some of my best friends I am so thankful that @juncoshollinger and my sponsor @c4energy gave me the opportunity and chance to be here. It was such a great experience at the Chris Griffis test to understand the new race car and for those that asked the biggest surprise was the way the throttle kicks in with the turbo. I’m still grinning ear to ear from the speed, and I cannot state enough how much I appreciate the team helping me in this process to coach me and step me up faster and faster throughout the day. I do wish the weather was a bit more cooperative as I wanted even more time in the car and the time flew! Although I was a bit appprehensive leading up to the test, due to the physicality of the INDY NXT Dallara chassis that has no power steering, my work in the gym for the past few years has now paid off and I am confident in the next tests that we will be able to learn from today and push harder and faster.
