I met people outside that had been waiting since 9:30am to get in. We hugged, shed some tears and I felt really good in the spirit. The venue was air conditioned and dog friendly prolly. Just had that vibe that if you were a dog they’d let you chill in a hallway and give you a mini Mars bar or some shit. Anyway, I hit the stage in my falcon handling gloves and immediately felt restricted by the big tough leather covering my palms. After the first song they had to go. Bam! Threw them shits. The crowd was loose and nibble as was I, well hydrated and relatively sturdy. I was hitting a lot of spin moves to showcase how hydrated I actually was all while thinking in my head “You still got it my boy”. We laughed and some of my jokes hit. Some didn’t. Some people yawned. That always throws me off, so if you come to a show and you’re tired please hold that shit in.
