Developing as a climber becomes a lot easier when you have a community behind you. One of the goals behind the Bergskultur Summer Camp was to create a foundation of support for aspiring female climbers—and we’d say @マチルダ・セーデルルンド has succeeded.
Over the course of five camp sessions, the girls gained confidence on the wall at Matilda’s climbing gym @moumogram ,learned how to set their own routes, then got to put their skills to the test outdoors.
“For me it's been a way to give back to my community… and create this space where we can come together and climb together and just improve as climbers and bond as human beings.”
And this is only the beginning—Matilda and the girls plan to keep their newfound community alive online and through climbing meetups at the gym and bouldering walls around Sweden.
