The impact of climate change, such as extreme weather events, is increasing in severity every year. To reduce the environmental footprint caused by our business, we, at Shiseido group, are implementing various initiatives. As part of our response to climate change, we are aiming for net-zero by 2050 and have set science-based targets for 2030 in a bid to reduce CO2 emissions throughout our value chain. As concrete actions, for example, we have completed our transition to renewable electricity at all our domestic and international factories, achieving 100% carbon neutrality in electricity.
