The Alessi Museum holds the projects of over 850 authors, which document the eclectic nature of the company’s research. At the basis of this eclecticism is the company's ability to collaborate simultaneously with a multiplicity of authors, different in terms of training, nationality, age, design approach. These differences are reflected in a catalogue of objects that are unique not only in terms of material or type but, more profoundly, in their "design language".⁣

In the Museum, this extraordinary richness of languages is immediately evident: the objects, divided according to typology, allow us to observe how the design of the same product - for example the salt, pepper and spice mill - has been developed with completely unique approaches by the various authors who have addressed it.⁣
