An unassuming outlaw, the artist Karin Mamma Andersson has paintings that have brought more than one child to tears—like “About a Girl,” a portrait of her schoolmates. “I remember being there at that table with my friends and the feeling of utter isolation. They’re together, but they’re alone.”
