The beloved Unikko has become one of our most recognizable prints globally, often seen as a core visual representation of Marimekko as a brand. In honor of the new, limited-edition Runoja Unikko hoodie, artist @miguelhurtado is here to teach us how to sign ’Marimekko’ in Finnish sign language.

This year, Miguel Peltomaa gained fame among Finns after becoming the first sign language translator and commentator for UMK (Contest for New Music), Finland’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.
