第一章
私が菌類シリーズを始めた最初の作品。
このインスタレーションは、皮なめしの干し方を参考にした。
生命の命を奪うと同時に新たな命を吹き込む皮なめしは、菌類と全く同じ哲学を持っていると思って作製にあたった。
以下、作品解説になります。

Chapter 1
The first piece in my Fungus series.
This installation is based on the process of drying tanned hides.
I began production thinking that the process of tanning, which removes life and at the same time breathes new life into it, has exactly the same philosophy as that of fungus.

記憶と変異~ユートピア~

記憶の一部がしつこく脳内に絡みついてくる。
よく見ると、彼らは仮面を被っている。
現実なのか、想像の世界なのか。
そのアノニマス(名無し)はいつの日かの私、それとも他者なのだろう。
考えれば考えるほど、記憶って本当はちっぽけで、
どうでも良いことだと気づく。
日々私たちは生きて、混ざり合い、変異して。
そんな呼吸がただただ世の中に残っていくだけのこと。

Pieces of memory tangle in my brain.
On closer inspection, they're all masked.
Are they real or imaginary?
Will this nameless anonymus be me, or you?
The more I think about it, the more I realize that these memories are so tiny and unimportant.Every day, we live, we mix and we mutate.
Breaths like these simply stay in the world.
