With 11 new tracks this album is an extended version of the original Echoes Of Life. The two album covers show different stages of this project and I would love to share with you my thoughts behind them. It‘s also for the first time that I have designed the album covers. • The original album came together during the pandemic. In this sudden state of standstill and isolation, in which we were physically shielded from the outside world but mentally absorbing so many of its dissonances, my little bubble was filled with nothing but my own thoughts, echoing over and over again. All the associations I made with the music of the album were based on those. On this cover I am turned inwards, trying to hole up, and the blue distortions represent all the echoes around and inside me. • For the Deluxe Edition I wanted a cover that reflected on the transformation I went through with this project. With each person who joined and with each new perspective, my little bubble grew bigger. And when I began to play the program live in concerts, I realized that this was no longer just my own journey. Everywhere I went, audience members wrote to me about what they experienced. And as my initial associations began to fade, the stories of the people who experienced Echoes Of Life began to take shape and echo through the concert halls with the music. On this cover, the space around me has grown bigger and I have become a more distant figure. As if I am realizing that I am a small person in a much bigger space. The red thread on the dress was actually the subject of quite some discussion. Some loved it immediately while others wondered if it should be cut out of the picture. I decided to keep it because it has a poetic meaning in Japan, my mother's homeland. It’s said that some people are connected through an invisible red thread throughout their lives, regardless of place, time and circumstances. And I like to think that my red thread here is connected to many other invisible threads in the picture, belonging to all those who helped me transform Echoes Of Life.」9月18日 22時19分 - alicesaraott_official

The original album came together during the pandemic. In this sudden state of standstill and isolation, in which we were physically shielded from the outside world but mentally absorbing so many of its dissonances, my little bubble was filled with nothing but my own thoughts, echoing over and over again. All the associations I made with the music of the album were based on those.
