Just a single photo without a trending song or catchy hashtag. Yesterday was such a blahhh day. (This photo isn’t from then. I don’t look this put together on the blahhh days!)

It started off with the best of intentions but then I read a couple of DM’s from people upset that I’d shared sadness for 9/11. I can wrap my head round most critique but that really sent me.

Then, really not a big deal when you’re feeling ok but a massive deal when you’re not- a series of a million tiny inconveniences. Dropping my key under my car seat and scratching my hand flesh trying to retrieve it, a plastic drinking cup having a crack in the bottom and water going everywhere, my editing software glitching and not working as it should. Just really small things that aren’t a big deal…became a big deal.

In a negative space, I started to hone in on bigger things. I let my mind get so angry and spiral down, which is so unlike me! 99% of the time my glass is more than half full and I feel like I have the best life but yesterday that 1% was LOUD.

I don’t have a big reason to share this. I just felt like I’d rather just have a stream of consciousness than post a peppy little reel.

Today is a new day and I’ve already started it better. Liam cheered me up (honestly one day when the time’s right I’ll tell you all the things this man has done for our family that are just above and beyond), I’ve had a little walk (who knew exercise helped?) and the sun is shining.

A bad day doesn’t need to make a bad life! Mercury will soon get the eff out of retrograde! All is well!!
