I was gifted this antique velvet jacket in the late 90s by Jade Jagger as she felt it would inspire me. Regardless of its condition I was mesmerised by its golden threads set against the ruby red velvet. Colour can be so powerful, emotive and even sentimental and Im sure this gift sparked my love affair with the colour red. Extract from Living Bright
