A barber on the street of Phnom Penh /

It is almost impossible to see these street barbers on the street any more in Japan, but there are still many street barbers in Phnom Penh. Some go before working, others go before dinner with friends. From morning till late, we can see them at several places. Here is the street just one street south from the Orussey Market. I just wanted to document this everyday life scene which might vanish sooner or later as a community memory.

プノンペンの路上理髪店　

日本ではほとんど見かけなくなった路上理髪店だが、プノンペンにはまだたくさんある。出勤前に行く人もいれば、友人との夕食前に行く人もいる。朝から晩まで、あちこちで見かける。こちらはオルセーマーケットから1本南の通り。いずれ消えてしまうかもしれないこの日常風景を、地域の思い出として記録しておきたかった。
