This piece was painted when I was 23 or 24 years old and is only on display at this show in Yonago.
It is also on the cover of my art book, and I think it was the first work that opened the door to expressionist techniques for me, having previously painted realistic pictures.

At the time, I was very poor and had no money to buy a canvas, so I painted on a panel I picked up from the university dump.Haha

But my heart was rich.
I was eating nothing but instant noodles. LOL

この作品は、私が23歳か24歳のときに描いたもので、米子での展覧会のみで展示される予定です。
私の画集の表紙にもなっていますが、それまで写実的な絵を描いていた私にとって、表現主義的な技法のドアを開いた最初の作品だったように思います。

とても懐かしい。
最初この絵が出来た時、失敗したと思って凹んだのを良く覚えているな。

キャンバスを買うお金もなくて、大学のゴミ捨て場から拾ってきたパネルに描いたんだったなぁ。
百円ローソンのインスタントラーメンしか食べていなかった。笑
心は豊かだったけどね。
