I took over as team principal this time because I wanted to see Jari-Matti’s 20th WRC anniversary and 210th race in person. I could hear in the crowd’s cheers how they had been waiting to see him. He had never raced the GR YARIS Rally1 HYBRID in a rally before. I know that his driving this time is going to help us make ever-better cars and make an ever-stronger team.
