"A Taste of Youth Eating with Students"
When I first arrived in New York, I went to Kinokuniya Bookstore because I was worried about my lack of language skills. I happened to run into a native Japanese student who wanted to learn Japanese. We exchanged contact information on the spot and became fast friends. The bacon cheese and egg sandwich was his recommendation. It reminded me of my student days.

ニューヨークに来て間もない頃に、語学力の足りなさに悩んで紀伊国屋書店に行きました。そしたら偶然日本語を学びたいネイティブの学生さんと遭遇。その場で連絡先を交換して、直ぐに仲良くなりました。ベーコンチーズエッグサンドは彼のオススメのメニュー、素材を楽しむホッとした味になんだか学生時代を思い出したのでした。
